Solderability test and reference standard of components

In the international standard classification, the solderability test center involves non-ferrous metals, metal material tests, printed circuits and printed circuit boards, environmental tests, electrical and electronic tests, welding, brazing and low-temperature welding, integration of electronic components, electronic component components, fasteners for aerospace manufacturing, and electrical equipment and systems for aerospace. In the Chinese standard classification, the solderability test center involves precious metals and their alloys, metal process performance test methods, printed circuits, welding and cutting, environmental conditions and general test methods, reliability and maintainability, basic standards and general methods, and connectors.

Solderability test of components(IPC/EIA/JEDEC J-STD-002C, IEC 60068-2-58/20,GB2423.28/GB2423.32,MIL-STD-202G)

Sample pretreatment:

Class 1: no steam aging requirements;

Class 2: (non tin or tin lead coating): steam aging for 1H ± 5min;

Class 3: (default tin or tin lead coating): 8h ± 5min steam aging;

Weldability test:

1、Tin bath (solder bath) test: test a / A1 (lead / lead-free) (with pin components), test B / B1 (lead / lead-free) (without pin components), test C / C1 (lead / lead-free) (metal wire: lug, small drop, terminal, cable, etc.). Visual inspection after test.

2.Weldability test by wetting balance: Test E / E1 (with lead / without lead) (with pin components), test f / F1 (with lead / without lead) (without pin components), test g / G1 (with lead / without lead), wet weighing test by small ball method.

welding temperature : lead welding 245 ± 5 ℃ (Sn63 / Pb37, Sn60Pb40); Lead free welding (sac305) 255 ± 5 ℃.
