With the development of ultrasonic scanning detection technology, the scanning mode of acoustic signals has expanded from the most basic A-scan, B-scan, C-scan to multi-layer cross-sectional X-scan, C+T combined scan S-scan. Testing personnel can choose different scanning modes or combine them based on different samples and defect characteristics. Plastic sealed devices belong to non airtight devices that are sensitive to moisture. Once the plastic sealed device is invaded by moisture, various reactions can easily occur under isothermal welding conditions, leading to delamination. The accumulation of water vapor or ions in the layered area can cause internal delamination, bonding damage, metalization corrosion or thermal expansion, and even popcorn phenomenon in plastic sealed devices under certain conditions (such as welding, temperature changes). Ultrasonic scanning technology has shown high sensitivity and effectiveness in detecting internal packaging structures, cracks, delamination defects, gaps, and foreign object phenomena in materials.
