Due to the particularity of their profession, nondestructive testing personnel have a qualification access mechanism to control their quality. In short, they need to work with certificates. Personnel engaged in nondestructive testing shall undergo strict training and assessment according to the provisions of relevant regulations or technical conditions, hold the grade qualification certificate issued by relevant examination organizations, engage in the inspection of corresponding assessment items, and the signature on the test report will have legal effect.

China's NDT training system and international NDT standard iso9712 were prepared by the international technical committee. China nondestructive testing society is related to 8 government agencies or industrial departments. These non-destructive testing qualification certification institutions have formulated their own assessment rules for non-destructive testing personnel. Students need to obtain corresponding qualification certification according to their industry before they can engage in non-destructive testing in this field.
