What is UV testing? UV test, also known as UV aging test, is a process of simulating various factors involved in the actual use conditions of products and strengthening the experiment of corresponding conditions. It can reproduce the damage caused by sunlight, rain and dew and obtain the service life of products in a short time. The equipment carries out the test by exposing the material to be tested to the controlled interactive cycle of sunlight and moisture and increasing the temperature at the same time. The test equipment uses ultraviolet fluorescent lamp to simulate sunlight. At the same time, it can also simulate the influence of moisture by condensation or spraying to evaluate the changes of materials in color change, gloss, crack, blistering, catalysis, oxidation and so on.

UV aging test conditions

1. Lamp tube type

UVA-340 lamp tube: it can perfectly simulate the short wave ultraviolet light in the sunlight, that is, the wavelength range from 365nm to 295nm at the cut-off point of sunlight. It is mainly used for the light aging test of outdoor products

UVB-313 lamp tube: the short wave ultraviolet light emitted is stronger than the ultraviolet light of the sun usually shining on the earth's surface,

It is widely used in the rapid and economical test of durable materials, which will accelerate the aging of materials.

UVA-351 lamp tube: the ultraviolet part used to simulate the sunlight passing through the window glass, mainly used indoors.
