Chemical Resistance Test

Description:

Chemical resistance can be defined as the ability of plastic materials to endure themselves from corrosion when immersed in acid, alkali, saltwater solutions, water, various solvents, fatty oils, petroleum-based chemicals, and other chemical reagents.

During the test, the test samples are immersed in designated test liquids under specified temperatures for a specific period of time. After removal, changes in dimensions, mass, appearance, and other properties are measured.

Scope of Application:

Plastics, adhesives, adhesive products, semi-finished materials, non-woven floor coverings, coatings for aerospace manufacturing, materials for aerospace manufacturing, wooden components, etc.

Testing Method:

a.Immediately measure changes in the mass, dimensions, and appearance of the test samples after immersion or immersion-drying.

b.Immediately measure changes in the physical properties of the test samples after immersion or immersion-drying (mechanical properties, thermal properties, optical properties, etc.).

c.Liquid absorption.
